Oh what a week..or two..

Ya know those cartoons that show feathers flying all over the place when an animal gets "injured"?  Well, it happened to me.  That is how I started my week......I think the bird and I made eye contact.  Before I could do anything all I could see was feathers flying all over the place.  Sadly, my daughter was in the car as I was taking her to school.  She proceeded to tell me that it wasn't nice to hit the bird. -_-

A couple of days after I hit the bird my sweet nephew was born.  His mommy is actually my cousin but has been like a sister to me for the the last 11 years.  He is so sweet.  His name is Achilles and he was 7lbs8oz and 21 inches long.  Daddy is away with the USAF right now so I won't be posting any pics of him just yet, but they will come soon enough.  I appreciate and understand the need for privacy.

L1 started karate and she loves it.  She really thinks she is large and in charge with her HI-YA'S!  So cute and I love watching her do something she loves.  It's kind of blurry but you get the idea.

L1 is a funny kid.  She says lots of funny random stuff most of which I forget to document.  Here are a few L1isms that have stuck with me:

L1: Mom, I am not big enough to have a baby yet, but when I am six I can shower all by myself.
Me: O.o

L1:  Ya know mom when you get more baby in your tummy you are going to get fat.
Me: -_-

L1:  Mom, I am feeling nauseous today so I don't think I can finish my Trix.
Me:  Eat your cereal.

L1:  Mom, I don't think I am ever getting maryweed (married) because I don't want them to tape me up when I have a baby. (My son was a c-section; big mistake of letting her even visit the hospital)
Me:  I don't think you need to worry about it quite yet.

One she experiences something she then becomes the subject matter expert.....as all four and a half year old's do....

L2 OKA (otherwise known as Bubby) is doing well.  His top two teeth should be coming in any time and he is crawling all over the place.  I swear I can't keep up with this kid.   I cannot imagine how I will feel in another 2 months when I am even MORE preggers.  Yikes.

We will know in just 5 short weeks if Baby #3 is going to be a boy or a girl.  I am betting a girl.  My sister-in-law says boy.  I do not like to be wrong. That is all.

Speaking of babies and stuff I really wanted to be sure that I was trying my hardest to stay ultra healthy this go around.  I didn't do too bad with my son, but I loved Coldstone when I was pregnant with him. So far I have been pretty good.  Yesterday the Husband and I started Focus T25 and have been following the meal plan.  We have stuck to it!  I have to say though, this pregnancy I am not a fan of meat so the meal plan is hard for me.  The food is pretty good (minus raw purple cabbage- YUCK).  Tonight's dinner is Quinoa patties over spinach. See my Beachbody tab up at the top for more information.  There is no reason a pregnant momma can't exercise and eat healthy!  You won't die if you don't have ice cream....promise!

The Husband and I took the littles to see Despicable Me 2.  DISASTER.  L1 was a wreck.  I thought for sure she was old enough to go to the movies.  Uhm.....NO.  L2 was better behaved and he is 8 months old. I yi yi.  But the movie was ADORBS and I am going to own it!  I LOVE Agnes!  Also, I want a minion.

Up and coming.....uhm.....oh yeah....nothing.  I have homework to do. One day I will be a Dr.  One day.

Until next time...

Hey Ya'll

Hey ya'll!! I hope this blog post finds you having an excellent 4th of July.  This year we are laying low.  But...next year I want to go out of town!  I love the 4th and I want to really celebrate next year.  I'd like to go somewhere cool.....and by cool I mean cooler than 111 degrees.  Plus, I want my kids to finally see an awesome fireworks show!!!!!

To all of my readers that serve (have served, active duty, families, and spouses), I cannot thank you enough for your service and my freedom.  The freedom to wake up in my own bed every morning with a certain sense of comfort.  To those of you who have suffered loss...I am sorry, my heart is with you, and THANK YOU for your sacrifice.

God Bless America and Godspeed
